Cheri Potts began her accounting career 21 years ago in the home-based computer repair business she and her husband owned. In addition, she was a freelance bookkeeper for several local small businesses. During her freelance career, an accounting firm referred her to interview with one of their clients for an Accounting Manager position. She declined several times but when contacted again, she thought, maybe this was the path God was directing her to follow. In the long run, she was with the company for over 13 years working directly under the CFO and handling all aspects of the day to day accounting operations. Today she is excited to be in position to support various small businesses through her work within Randolph Business Resources. Helping the small to medium size business manage and run their company effectively and efficiently continues to be Cheri’s key career passion.
Cheri’s background also includes extensive customer service relations. She feels customer service is the bottom line to insuring and retaining long term customers, regardless of the type of service or product provided. Cheri welcomes a challenge and enjoys research, analysis and problem solving.
Cheri is married and has 2 daughters, 2 sons, 6 grandchildren and 2 fur babies. Her hobbies include jigsaw puzzles watching tv with her husband and dining with friends and family and volunteers in children’s ministry at her church.
